Good shoe - but beware
Good shoe. However, inside of heel is breaking down also - similar to another cross trainer from G/Fore. Must be poor design or poor quality of materials (inside).

Good shoe, good quality. Be sure of your size.
This is my second pair of GFore shoes. I have a pair of MG4+ which are super. The MG4X2 are great except the fit is too small. When i first opened the box and tried them on, they felt "short" but i thought they'd be OK so i didn't return them. After playing a round in them though, I see I was wrong. I ordered and received a size 12, but they are probably a full size too small, and essentially unusable.

Improved on what is already the best golf shoe!
I LOVE this new MG4X2 Quarter G. The upper has the same breathable, waterproof vinyl material as the MG4 but it is thinner. This is not the cloth upper material of the MG4X2 Cross Trainer. The heel collar (upper heel pad, Achilles protector) is a rubber-like material but feels more like suede, and is very comfortable. I'm a big fan of this new heel collar, it doesn't rub and is very comfortable. My hope is it more durable than the MG4 cotton/foam pad heel collar. The insole/insert is the same incredibly comfortable pad. I can't describe the feeling of these insoles, I can only say try them on and you will want them. MG4X2 Quarter G has a noticeably wider base at mid/forefoot which gives you more swing stability and a very comfortable walking shoe. The heel sole is the same thick and super comfortable cushioned sole as the MG4 which again makes this shoe the most comfortable walking shoe and creates a very stable swing platform. Don't let the spikeless scare you. The traction and durability of these shoes is impressive. They give me all grip I need in wet or dry conditions and they don't wear out like spikes. My MG4 spikeless are two years old and have over 250 rounds of golf and they show very little wear. My only complaint with the MG4 was the fragile heel collar and the MG4X2 Quarter G looks like they have corrected the problem.

Comfort 100. Looks… -2. Disappointed.
If they made this exact shoe but a nice clean print like some of the MG4+ colors have, I would probably buy 4 or 5 pairs. These look like running shoes from the 90’s… the bad part of the 90’s when nobody knew how to dress. Basically, if you want to feel great & look terrible, these are for you.
